Contract Ratification:

On April 17, 2009 the Local 19 membership ratified the new 5 year contract. Results are as follows:

Total Votes - 1253

Accept - 1033

% Accept - 83%

Reject - 218

% Reject - 17%

Void - 2

Contract – Wages and Retroactive Pay:

With the contract being ratified on April 17th the company has communicated that the negotiated wage improvements will begin the second pay period in May. Those wages will be reflected on the May 21st paychecks. Retroactive pay is also scheduled to appear on the May 21st paychecks.
